The appellant, pursuant to his pleas, was convicted by a military judge sitting as a general court-martial of assault with a means and force likely to produce grievous bodily harm and of being drunk and disorderly in violation of Articles 128 and 134, respectively, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 928 and 934 (1982) [hereinafter UCMJ].
