Plaintiff Tammy Edwards brings federal-law claims against defendant Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) for sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and retaliation, all in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), as amended (42 U.S.C. §§ 1981a, 2000e to 2000e-17), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) (29 U.S.C. §§ 2601-2654). Edwards also brings state-law claims against defendant Mike Swindle for intentional infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy, assault and battery, and slander.…
