STOKES, Justice.

This is a common law action for damages filed by the appellant A. W. Blanton against the appellees, E. & L. Transport Company a and Sam & Ed Auto & Truck Parts, both being corporations. The damages sued for consisted of personal injuries to appellant and damage to his automobile which resulted from a collision on June 14, 1943, near Gainesville in Cooke County. The E. & L. Transport Company owned and operated a truck with a large trailer that was equipped to transport airplane wings, the truck and trailer together being about seventy-five feet in length, and will be referred…
