Steiner, for the use of Landers, filed a- suit against Mrs. Emma Blair upon a mortgage note, praying for a general judgment against the defendant, and for a special lien •upon the property described in the mortgage note. The defendant filed a plea of non est factum. On the trial the plaintiff offered in evidence the mortgage note, which had been properly recorded in the office of the clerk of the superior court of Habersham county, but offered no proof of its execution.
