On January 22, 2014, a Medina County jury found Appellant Michael Rivas guilty of murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and criminal conspiracy relating to the death of Felix Flores. Michael1 was sentenced to life imprisonment in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
