OPINION
BODY, District Judge.
Presently before the Court are defendants’ motions for judgment notwithstanding the verdict and, in the alternative, for a new trial.
Plaintiff brought this action to recover damages for the injuries she sustained when she crashed into a sliding glass door in the defendants’ home. The accident resulted in the severance of the femoral artery and the sciatic nerve in plaintiff’s right leg. Both were successfully reunited through subsequent operations, although plaintiff never regained the use of her right foot and still has what is referred to as a “drop foot”. Her…
