The chancellor removed custody of a young boy from his mother on the ground that the mother was living with a man to whom she was not married. This case was certified to us from the Court of Appeals for the reason that it involves an issue of significant public importance and perhaps an interpretation of a part of the Arkansas Constitution. The appellant contends that the trial court erred in changing custody of the child without requiring a showing that the mother was unfit and that the mother was deprived of due process of law.
