Appellant, Larry Livingston Joseph, was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of using a handgun in the commission of a felony or crime of violence by a jury sitting in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. 1 The court sentenced appellant to two life terms on the first-degree murder charges and two twenty-year terms on the handgun charges; all sentences were to run consecutively.
