GRAY, Justice.

This suit was brought by J. R. Hunni-cutt, Administrator of the Estate of Helen Mar Hunnicutt, Deceased, to determine the right of succession to property possessed by her at the time of her death.

The first and principal question presented is: Was Helen Mar Hunnicutt the adopted daughter of Hicklin P. Hunnicutt and his *943wife, Bertha Hunnicutt, both deceased? These parties died without issue of their marriage and by their separate wills each devised property to Helen Mar Hunnicutt, who also possessed property in her own right.
