Plaintiff brought this action to recover the full amount of a policy for the destruction by fire of a building owned by him and known as the Club Crystal. At the time of the fire plaintiff held two other policies covering the building, one being issued by the Eagle Star & British Dominions Insurance Company Limited of London, England, for $3,500, and the other being issued by the Westchester Fire Insurance Company of New York, for $3,000, on which suits were also instituted.
