The five plaintiffs in this action, Luis Sarceno, Rudy Godoy, Miguel Angel Irahe-ta, Omar Vaszuez, and Eber Estrada Flores (collectively, “the plaintiffs”), filed suit under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), 29 U.S.C. § 201 et seq., and the District of Columbia Minimum Wage Act (“DCMWA”), D.C.Code § 32-1001 et seq., seeking “damages and other relief because Defendants failed to pay [the plaintiffs] minimum wages and/or overtime wages.” Compl. ¶ 1, ECF No. 1.
