Timothy Scott Gibson, the respondent in this attorney regulation case, neglected a client’s case and then misrepresented the status of the case for four years to cover up his neglect. A hearing panel of the supreme court grievance committee approved the findings and the recommendation of the hearing board that Gibson be suspended from the practice of law for thirty days. The complainant asserts that Gibson’s misconduct warrants a suspension for three to six months.
