This case is before the Court on a certified question from the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. 1 The moving party, LensCrafters, Inc., (LensCrafters) owns optical stores throughout the United States and produces prescription ophthalmic materials on its premises. LensCrafters leases space to licensed optometrists who perform eye examinations.
