I. INTRODUCTION

In this putative class-action lawsuit, Plaintiffs Jessica and Michael Arnold claim that when they purchased an automobile-insurance policy from Safeco Insurance Company of Illinois, they expected that the policy would cover the full amount of their auto loan in the event of a total loss of the vehicle.
