The plaintiff, James B. Irwin, Sr., sought approval of a four lot subdivision on approximately fifteen acres of property that he owns in Litchfield, with a lot configuration consisting of two interior lots, necessitating a special exception under article VI, § 5A,1 *621of the Litchfield zoning regulations.
