In this action plaintiff seeks to recover damages for personal injuries. When the cause was submitted to the jury but two •questions were presented for determination: (1) Was plaintiff injured as the result of defendant’s negligence? And (2) if so, what amount will fairly and reasonably compensate her? By the general verdict the jury answered the first question in the affirmative and fixed the damages at $800, with interest from the date of the injury, and judgment was entered upon the verdict.
