The General Assembly has authorized the courts of Ohio to “exercise personal jurisdiction over a . . . [nonresident] ... as to a cause of action arising from the . . . [nonresident’s] [c]ausing tortious injury by an act... in this state .... ” Section 2307.382, Revised Code.
