Plaintiffs appeal from an order permitting defendants to answer -after a default judgment had been entered against them. The action is one to recover the balance of a $100 commission claimed to be due plaintiffs for services rendered in connection with the sale of certain machinery. Plaintiffs claim an oral arrangement to pay them as commission anything which they received in excess of $450. The machinery sold for $600. Plaintiffs contend, therefore, that the commission due them was $150. Defendants have paid them only $50, leaving the balance here sued for.
