I disagree with the majority’s decision to exercise its discretion to review the claim of error in this case as error apparent on the face of the record. More particularly, the majority erroneously elects to exercise its discretion in this case after defendant expressly told the trial court that she was not raising the ground for suppression of evidence that she now raises on appeal.
