This advisory opinion to the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island is rendered pursuant to the pertinent provisions of Rule 6 of the rules of this court. The above-entitled action was originally brought by the plaintiff, Associates Capital Services Corporation (Associates) against the defendant, Ronald L. Riccardi (Riccardi), in the District Court as a diversity action under 28 U.S.C. §1332.
