I. INTRODUCTION
Plaintiff Diane Haskins (“Plaintiff’ or “Haskins”) commenced this suit against her former employer, Christiana Care Health Services (“Defendant” or “CCHS”) alleging that she was wrongfully terminated as a result of racial discrimination in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1981. CCHS moves for summary judgment on the grounds that Haskins has failed to establish a prima facie case of racial discrimination or, alternatively, has failed to demonstrate that CCHS’ articulated non-discriminatory reason for her termination is pretextual.
