I. INTRODUCTION
This is an employment discrimination case. Plaintiff Barry Sullivan (“plaintiff’ or “Sullivan”) commenced this suit against his former employer, Nationwide Life Insurance Company of America (“defendant” or “Nationwide”) asserting discrimination, in regards to the termination of his employment, on the basis of race in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq.
