These appeals, consolidated by agreement, are from judgments of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina in two actions brought by Wilson Sporting Goods Co. (Wilson) for infringement of United States Patent 4,560,-168 (’168), entitled “Golf Ball.” Trial was before a United States Magistrate by consent.
