This is an action of tort in which the minor plaintiff, Alfred Storella, Jr., who lived with his parents on the first floor of premises owned, managed and controlled by the defendant, was awarded damages in the amount of $588.00 for injuries sustained when he tripped over a metal cable which had been in the yard of the premises for a period of two-three weeks.
