The preliminary legal jousting in these two separate actions filed months apart *29has been intense. A panoply of motions returnable on the same day was offered, six in number, one by the plaintiff and five by the defendants. At the oral argument on the return day certain dispositions and decisions were made from the Bench, the most important to consolidate the applications by both sides for preliminary injunction, and to defer their decision to the time of trial on the merits.
