Plaintiffs Jay C. Roberts and Maureen M. Roberts (the "Roberts”) reside in Vermont where they own and operate a sheep breeding business. Defendant Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co., Inc. (“Smith Barney”) is a New York based investment and brokerage house with offices throughout the country.
