Defendant has been charged with one count of criminal pos*383session of a weapon in the third degree, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, and one count of possession of ammunition. (See Penal Law § 265.02 [4]; § 265.01 [1]; Administrative Code of City of NY § 10-131 [i] [3].) Defendant has moved to suppress a loaded .25 caliber pistol and switchblade seized from him by the arresting officer, an oral statement that he made at the time of the arrest, and both written and oral statements that he made to a detective about 21/2…
