Action for services alleged to have been performed by the plaintiff’s intestate under a contract of employment with the defendant. Defense, that pursuant to the laws of the Republic of France, where the intestate was domiciled at the time of his death, all his personal estate was devolved upon his heirs at law to the exclusion of all others.
