The original suit was brought in the state court, against Black alone,- upon an attachment issued by Zacharie, & Company-against'him, he being a citizen, of South Carolina, and nbt resident' in Louisiana; and upon this attachment certain shares of Blaqk, in tire Carrollton Bank, and the Gas Light and Banking Company, in Louisiana, were attached, to answer the' exigency of the writ.'
