I. INTRODUCTION

Yesterday the Supreme Court handed down its decision in United States v. Booker, 1 finding certain provisions of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, promulgated pursuant to the Sentencing Reform Act of 1984, 2 unconstitutional.
