This case presents a controversy over the title and ownership of a player piano. The plaintiff, C. M. Byrd, brought the suit in the county court and obtained an order of attachment against the defendant, Decker Brothers Company, a corporation, a nonresident of the state, and the piano was taken under the said order, the plaintiff claiming that the defendant was indebted to him in the sum of $685.

Mrs. Sam C. Davis came into the court as interpleader in the case, claiming that the player piano attached was 'her property for the reason she had a transaction with C. M.…
