BRITT, Judge.

Defendant assigns as error the denial of his motion for dismissal of the prosecution for failure of the State to bring him to a speedy trial. The record reveals the following sequence of pertinent events: The alleged offense occurred on 19 July 1969 and warrant was issued and executed on that date. On affidavit of defendant’s indigency, E. J. David was appointed as legal counsel for defendant evidently on 21 July 1969.
