The appellant was charged by information on October 3, 1979, of causing the death of Patra Bryant on October 1, 1979. He was tried before a jury on April 24, 1980, and was found guilty of murder in the first degree in violation of Ark. Stat. Arin. § 41-1502 (Repl. 1977). He was sentenced to life in prison.
