The appellant, David L. Hale, brings this appeal from his conviction by a jury in Pulaski County Circuit Court for making a false or misleading statement to the Arkansas. Insurance Department in violation of Ark. Code Ann. § 23-60-109 (Repl. 1994). The jury sentenced Mr. Hale on that conviction to twenty-one days imprisonment in the Arkansas Department of Correction.
