Defendant was convicted by a jury of driving a vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, third offense, MCL 257.625; MSA 9.2325. Following an initial appeal, the trial court held an evidentiary hearing regarding the validity of a prior conviction. Defendant now appeals as of right from the trial court’s order adjudging the prior conviction a proper basis for the conviction as a third offender.
