OPINION

LANGDON, Justice.

This is an adoption proceeding. Timmie Gayle Ellison and Milton Edward Ellison were formerly husband and wife. Two children were born of their marriage, which was dissolved by divorce on March 10, 1960. In its judgment the court awarded the custody and control of Debra Gayle Ellison, a girl 3½ years of age (in 1960), to the mother (with visitation privileges to the father), and the custody and control of Miltonette Arlene Ellison, a girl one year of age (in 1960), to the father (with visitation rights to the mother).
