Defendant appeals and seeks reversal of his convictions for attempted murder with a firearm, first-degree assault with a firearm, and unlawful use of a weapon with a firearm.1 In his first assignment of error, defendant contends that the trial court erroneously admitted evidence that defendant had engaged in plea discussions with the district attorney.
