THOMAS, Judge.
Harold E. Dunn, Sr. (“the husband”), and Debra A. Dunn (“the wife”) were married on January 13, 2005. There are no children of the marriage. On November 28, 2011, the wife filed a complaint in the Mobile Circuit Court seeking a divorce and a division of the marital assets and debts. On April 26, 2012, the case was called for a trial; at trial, the wife appeared pro se and the husband was represented by an attorney.
