Lizzie C. Hughes, -whom we will refer to as the defendant, is seeking to reverse a judgment for $750.00 obtained against ber by the appellee, whom we will refer to as tbe banking commissioner. The defendant was the owner of fifteen shares of the capital stock of the People’s Bank & Trust Company of Perryville, which 'Corporation was engaged in the banking business until October 2, 1922, when it failed.
