This cause has been transferred to this court by the Springfield Court of Appeals. It was brought in that court as an original proceeding in mandamus. The relator applied to the County Court of Dunklin County for a license to operate pool and billiard tables in the city of Kennett. A hearing thereon was had in which much testimony was taken; the license was denied; and this proceeding was instituted to compel respondents as judges of said county court to issue the license.
