Danielle Miller sued Roche Surety & Casualty Co., Inc., Roche Bail Bonds, Inc., and Shannon Roche (collectively Roche), asserting claims under two provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 215(a)(3), 207(r)(l). Specifically, Miller alleged that Roche violated § 207(r)(l) because it did not give her a time and place to express breast milk and that Roche violated § 215(a)(3) when it terminated her employment after she asked for a time and place to do so.
