Plaintiff-appellant Ralph Miles appeals from a December 15, 2011 judgment of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Marrero, /.). Miles, a partner in a law firm, suffers from bilateral tinnitus accompanied by ear pain, hearing loss, headaches and vertigo. Claiming that these conditions prevent him from performing his job duties, Miles applied for long term disability benefits.
