Defendant appeals by leave granted from a Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board (WCAB) decision affirming and modifying the hearing referee’s award of compensation benefits to plaintiff.
On June 13, 1977, plaintiff, an employee of defendant, was involved in an automobile accident as he was returning to work from lunch.
