Appellant Ralph O. Boldt, the Chapter 7 trustee in the debtor’s bankruptcy case (the “Trustee”), appeals from an order of the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel of the Ninth Circuit (“BAP”), United States Trustee v. Boldt (In re Jenkins), 188 B.R. 416 (9th Cir. BAP 1995), reversing an order of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of California, In re Jenkins, 171 B.R. 104 (Bankr.S.D.Cal.1994). In administering the debtor’s estate, the Trustee hired a paraprofessional who performed certain routine trustee duties; the paraprofessional was not employed…
