Pursuant to Act 30 of 1915, authorizing the leasing of state lands, in-*249eluding river and lake beds and bottoms, for the production of oil, gas, and other minerals, the Governor leased to Mally Eastham, on the 4th of November, 1918, all of the land that the state then owned “within the meandering lines of Bayou Pierre river, and Dolet bayou, in sections 14, 15, 22, 23, 25, 2d, 27, 35, and 36, in T. 12 N.,-R. 11 W., La. Mer.” Eastham transferred two-thirds interest in the lease to W. E. Reynolds, and he transferred the same interest, in so far as it affected a part of the lands, to the trustees…
