MEMORANDUM OPINION

SLEET, District Judge.

I. INTRODUCTION

Plaintiff Heather Lloynd (“Lloynd”) initiated this action against her former employer, defendant Hanover Foods Corporation (“Hanover”), alleging that Hanover wrongfully refused to offer her continued health care coverage upon her discharge from Hanover on May 16, 1997.'
