I. Introduction

In this appeal we address the arbitrability of a dispute regarding coverage under an automobile insurance policy. The insurer, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (“State Farm”), argues that the dispute should be settled in the courts, while the insured, Mary Coviello (“Coviello”), insists that it should be settled via arbitration, pursuant to an arbitration clause in the relevant insurance policy.
