— Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Suffolk County (Copertino, J.), rendered January 18, 1982, convicting him of attempted robbery in the second degree, upon his plea of guilty, and imposing sentence. Judgment affirmed. Defendant was charged in a three-count indictment with robbery in the first degree and two counts of assault in the first degree, stemming from the robbery and beating of a cab driver by a gang of about 12 men on March 17, 1981.
