SOPER, Circuit Judge.
On February 13, 1961, Willie Junior Rakes, the defendant appellant, entered a plea of guilty in the District Court to eight separate indictments in each of which he was charged, along with other persons, with removing and concealing, at various times in September and October, 1960, a certain quantity of distilled spirits on which the tax' had not been paid, in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 5601(a) (12).
