H. W. Lewis asks to be discharged from the custody of an officer who holds him in pursuance to an order of the district court of Sedgwick county, committing him for contempt. By this proceeding in habeas corpus, the petitioner challenges the power of the district court, which was exercised in the appointment of a receiver in the case of Price v.
